Giro d’Italia Tour: May 13-25, 2009

The 2009 Giro d’Italia is looking to be one of the most exciting in years with the comeback of Lance Armstrong and Ivan Basso, and we’ll be there to see if these two cycling phenomenons can live up to their reputations. Our tour will begin on the shores of the beautiful lake Garda and take us through Lombardia, Piemonte, Liguria, Toscana and Emilia Romagna. We'll see 5 select Giro d'Italia stages including Stage 8 to Bergamo (with optional participation in the granfondo Felice Gimondi), Stage 10 through the maritime alps (includes Colle dell'Agnello, Col'd'Izoard, Sestriere), the scenic stage 12 time trial through Cinque Terre on the Ligurian coast and back over the Appenines for 2 awesome stages (14 and 15) through the Tosco Romagnolo Apennines.

Veneto - Romagna Tour: May 27-June 6, 2009

The Veneto and Emilia Romagna regions of Northern Italy are some of the best areas for road cycling in all of Europe and home to many professional and amateur racing teams. Join us in an exploration of the amazing climbs, cuisine, and culture, these areas have to offer.

The Solidarity Ride for Tony Pedeferri hosted by NONSTOP CICLISMO and Aloha Steakhouse on September 13, turned out to be a huge success. More than a hundred people showed up in support of Tony, and the donations were many and generous.

Through the amazing support from riders in Ventura and surrounding areas we managed to raise an impressive $4200, which will go directly to Tony and his family. A big thanks to everyone for helping us make this day special as well as fun.

Also, a special thank you to the media who helped us promote the event, e.g. Cumulus Broadcasting and Ventura County Star, and to the many volunteers, who put in hours of hard work and made the event a reality.
